There are several reasons as to why a person wants to flash a phone. One may decide to flash a phone because he or she has forgotten the unlock pattern, pin or password.

In order to flash a phone, follow the steps below:

1). Shutdown your phone just as you do

      normally;

2). After shutting down, press the                   power button and the volume up             button simultaneously until you feel

      the phone vibrate;

3). To scroll down to flash, use the 

      volume down button;

4) In order to select the option flash 

     option, press the power button.

That's how you can flash your phone without someone's help.
